Abstract. Minors and young people traditionally belong to the most active part of the population. In the field of scientific knowledge, this research object is one of the highest priorities. In particular, the sociological and criminological sciences actively investigate various forms of deviations and antisocial behavior of minors and youth. One of the aspects is considered to be a specific scientific category — «antisocial lifestyle». The antisocial lifestyle of young people, according to the author of the article, is one of the rather serious threats to the security of modern society and the state. The article states that antisocial behavior in adolescence and adolescence creates a real threat of criminal behavior in older age. Thus, it is essentially a «breeding ground» for recidivism. The causes and conditions of the development of an antisocial lifestyle in our country have been actively investigated for thirty years by the Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Professor Viktor Ivanovich Ignatenko. Based on his scientific ideas, the proposed article provides opinions on the factors determining the antisocial lifestyle of minors and youth. The author has analyzed various conceptual approaches of a number of Russian and foreign researchers, not only in the field of sociology and criminology, but also representatives of various fields of humanitarian knowledge. The article convincingly shows that both domestic and foreign authors base their scientific ideas about the antisocial lifestyle of minors and youth on common criminological factors.
