Political influence on Russians in the context of digitalization

Abstract. The active introduction of digital technologies into current political practice gives rise to the need for modern specialists and scientists to study a number of significant issues related to the phenomenon of digitalization at the current stage of the formation of human civilization. The subject of this study is the political of Russians in the context of digitalization, while the purpose of the study is to determine the change in the political of Russians in the context of the digitalization of society. The article will discuss whether political processes actually activate changes in the areas of the state and society from the aspect of political science. Next, the problem of determining the vectors of influence is analyzed: the emergence and popularization of the latest types of digital technologies affects the formation and development of new subjects of the socio-political structure. On the other hand, the state uses new technological capabilities to improve the performance of political management processes in modern realities, while retaining and maintaining the potential of traditional political regimes. Also on the agenda is the question of what results in the political sphere bring the introduction of digitalization. An attempt is made to show that in the present period we can talk about changes in the conditions for the functioning of the state and society, as well as in the area of their points of contact. With all this, traditional political regimes, which have ceased to play the role of a monopoly source of political information due to the emergence of alternative subjects of digital interaction and the development of a competitive political space, are seizing the initiative to maintain political control and stability in the modern world.
