Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of two main Muslim holidays — Ruza Hayit and Kurban Hayit as vivid manifestations of the Islamic culture of Uzbekistan. These holidays, rooted in ancient times, play an important role in preserving spiritual values, national identity and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. The work examines in detail the historical origin of the holidays, their religious significance, as well as the evolution of celebration traditions in modern society. Particular attention is paid to rituals such as joint prayers, feasts, sacrifice rites and charity, which emphasize the importance of mercy, generosity and unity. The article analyzes how Ruza Hayit and Kurban Hayit contribute to strengthening family ties, forming a sense of community and raising the younger generation in the spirit of respect for traditions. The article also touches upon the influence of globalization and modern technologies on holiday customs, including the use of social networks for congratulations and sharing experiences. It emphasizes the relevance of preserving these holidays in the context of a rapidly changing world, where they serve not only as a spiritual guide, but also as a way to maintain the cultural uniqueness of Uzbekistan. The work is based on the study of historical sources, observations of modern practices and an analysis of their social significance, which makes it relevant for understanding the role of religious traditions in the formation of national identity and a harmonious society.
