The influence of foreign culture on modern Russian youth

Abstract. The issue raised in the scientific article «The influence of foreign culture on modern Russian youth» is relevant and topical, it is a short but sufficient question for understanding and polemic. This work is descriptive in which the author summarizes the current state of the current state of affairs, analyzes conceptual approaches and conceptual discourse regarding the influence of foreign culture on young citizens in our country. In modern Russia, in the context of globalization, intensive development of communications and an increase in the diversity of global cultural flows, the problem of interaction between Western and Russian cultures becomes relevant. The theoretical and methodological approach to identifying the political significance of the issue under study, its focus on social programs, taking into account social norms and values, is analyzed. The researcher’s personal position regarding the phenomenon under study is expressed, scientific tasks are formulated for further disclosure of the raised research topic. This article examines the influence of foreign culture on the worldview and behavioral qualities of modern Russian youth. The author analyzes the reasons and mechanisms for the penetration of foreign sociocultural trends into the Russian youth environment, and also evaluates the results of this influence on the mentality and lifestyle of Russian youth. The values of Western culture, which influence the lifestyle of Russians, are perceived by them ambiguously. This article discusses some aspects of the influence of Western culture on the formation of the worldview of modern Russian youth. The conclusions drawn and the proposals formulated in the work will help to compare the picture of the object of study under study in the future, which will help in the future to determine the tasks and develop tools for conducting quantitative and qualitative empirical research.
