Abstract. The work examines the current institutional mechanisms of the reproductive culture of the Russian society, such as family, mass media, educational, etc. Culture covers all spheres of human activity and is one of the most discussed phenomena in the scientific literature, but reproductive culture as a fragment of universal culture remains on the periphery of scientific knowledge and has not yet attracted the attention it deserves. However, the general vector of changes in the culture of our century is manifested in the sharpened interest to the problem of man and to different spheres of his existence, including the procreative sphere. Procreational sphere is one of the sites of cultural representation, as the reference norms of childhood and other aspects of human reproduction are regulated by certain values and cultural traditions. The subject of the research is reproductive culture, as well as the channels through which it integrates into the public consciousness. The purpose of this article is to identify the channels through which reproductive culture is transmitted. The method used to gather information was an online survey with a directed sample of people between the ages of 18 and 23. According to the results of the survey, the most popular channels of reproductive culture were family and friends. These results will help to better explore the channels that are more authoritative for young people. The obtained results will help to better understand which institutions and which channels to a large extent influence the transmission of reproductive culture of the younger generation.
