Abstract. The issue raised in the scientific article «Digital technologies as a single organizational and methodological tool for the social adaptation of military personnel transferred to the reserve» is relevant and topical, it is a short but sufficient question for understanding and debate. This work has a descriptive character, in which the author summarizes the current state of the current state of affairs, analyzes conceptual approaches and conceptual discourse. Social adaptation of military personnel serving in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and being transferred to the reserve and including them in the system of improving the personnel policy of Saint Petersburg, ensuring the development and production of innovative competitive products and contributing to solving the problems of industrial and socio-economic development of Saint Petersburg in the long term remains still unresolved. The personal position of researchers regarding the phenomenon under study is expressed, scientific tasks are formulated for further disclosure of the raised research topic. Therefore, for military personnel undergoing military service on a contract basis, it is necessary to organize additional professional education (retraining) during the period of service with elements of electronic education, while it is appropriate to take into account the potential of modern digital technologies, which are fully consistent with the proven Digital Ecosystem platform. Thus, the approbation of the project showed the possibility of using the Digital Ecosystem platform as an effective tool that provides network communication and interaction of participants to solve various types of educational tasks. The conclusions drawn and the proposals formulated in the work will help to compare the picture of the object of study under study in the future, which will help in the future to determine the tasks and develop tools for conducting quantitative and qualitative empirical research.
