It particularly focuses on analyzing current labor market changes caused by the introduction of GPT models. In particular, artificial intelligence has an impact on the time it takes to complete professional tasks, namely, it reduces it, on the implementation of work skills depending on the level of education, and on the performance of professional functions. Based on the research conducted, two scenarios for the development of the labor market over the next 5\u201310 years have been formulated: a scenario of moderate optimism and a scenario of technological disruption. With the practical implementation of the first scenario, members of society have time to adapt to new working conditions, while the second scenario increases the risk of job cuts, which is a factor of fear and social tension that slows down social progress. Employers have conflicting opinions about introducing artificial intelligence into business. On the one hand, there is low interest in this, on the other hand, the number of corresponding vacancies is growing. The paper presents a forecast of changes in the demand for skills and competencies, as well as a list of professions that will be most in demand in the future. It has been established that the nature of work in highly intellectual professions is transforming towards greater dynamism, creativity, and focus on solving complex problems. The automation of routine tasks allows specialists to concentrate on more complex issues that require non-standard thinking and an interdisciplinary approach.
