The increase in the number of students, technological developments, new learning theories and personal needs have led to the introduction of these concepts into our lives. The trends of online education introduced in 2022 are aimed at benefiting both online students and teachers. In this article, we will analyze the current trends in distance vocational education and demonstrate which trends have proved to be unreasonably popular, and which ones will be in demand in online learning. The portrait of a potential consumer of the educational industry of additional training in Russia was also described, the motives for additional professional training were determined. The sector of the educational environment that is most attractive for students was identified. The trends of the online education market and their possibilities of their accentuation were subjected to a more detailed study. An approach to education has been formed in which teachers provide tools for further education, materials and content online and conduct lessons in digital formats using software and technology. Thanks to this approach, new trends have emerged in online education, which we will consider further. For a detailed study of online education trends, an EdMarket study published in 2020 was analyzed. The researchers conducted a survey of potential or real users of distance professional education, as well as conducted in-depth interviews with experts. The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the online education market. The subject of this study is the factors influencing the trends of the online education market. E-learning environments are focused on new opportunities for students. The everyday environment of e-learning reveals new antagonistic concepts. As these new concepts quickly entered our lives, they have become indispensable materials in the field of education. New e-learning environments are used as platforms linked to each other.
