In recent years, the two countries have strengthened their ties in the face of regional instability and external pressures. This document examines the prospects for the development of Russian-Syrian relations with an emphasis on political, economic and security cooperation. The article analyzes the role of Russia in the Syrian conflict and the prospects for a political settlement. It also discusses the diplomatic initiatives that both countries have taken to strengthen their bilateral ties. It explores the potential for increased trade and investment between Russia and Syria, as well as issues related to international sanctions and the dependence of the Syrian economy on Russia. An assessment is made of the ongoing military cooperation between the two countries, including the presence of Russian military forces in Syria and the transfer of advanced weapons systems. It also examines the implications of these developments for regional security and stability. The prospects for the development of Russian-Syrian relations are high, despite the challenges associated with international sanctions and regional instability. The two countries are linked by a strategic partnership based on mutual interests and a common vision of regional stability and security. The paper concludes by identifying areas for future research and policy recommendations to strengthen this partnership. In the future, relations between Russia and Syria can be expected to strengthen and expand cooperation in various fields. Economic ties between the two countries, such as energy cooperation, trade and investment, can develop at a faster pace. However, it is necessary to take into account a number of challenges and obstacles that may arise in the development of relations.
