Abstract. The article «State Youth Policy in the Projection of a Strategy for Conflict Resolution» analyzes the importance and effectiveness of the state youth policy in the context of resolving conflicts that arise among young people in society. In today’s world, where differences in opinions, values and interests of young people are becoming more and more obvious, the conflict resolution strategy plays a decisive role in ensuring social peace and harmony. The state, realizing this need, develops and implements its youth policy in order to prevent, resolve and eliminate various types of conflicts among young people. The article presents the areas of work with youth in a civil or military conflict. The paper considers the activities of organizing work with youth: service-oriented approaches, partnership-based approaches, youth leadership-based approaches. Attention is focused on the current state of the political development of society, the positions and opinions of political scientists are studied, taking into account the socio-cultural and political life of our society in the context of the problem raised. The researcher’s personal position regarding the phenomenon under study is expressed, scientific tasks are formulated for further disclosure of the raised research topic. An attempt has been made to generalize the current state of the phenomenon under consideration and to offer original conclusions that reflect an individual approach and the author’s position in relation to the analyzed process. In particular, it is noted that the organization of work with youth can be an effective political strategy for resolving conflicts in modern society, using the example of a number of projects, the practices of working with youth in order to harness the potential of youth, civil and political participation in the interests of society are considered.
