Abstract. The article analyzes the general provisions of Islamic culture and religion. The history of the state has historically been a mixture of religions, cultures, traditions and customs of different peoples. The topic of Islam has always attracted close attention of scientists. The relevance of the problem cannot be denied, especially from the point of view of expanding the information and intellectual development of the individual. The interaction of religion and culture is a long and complex process that is part of the culture and traditions of the people. In Islam, morality is higher than aesthetic principles, but the connection between them is recognized in their highest manifestations. The religion of Islam is reflected in the traditions and culture of the Muslim people, but it is worth noting that they vary depending on the area of residence, which leads to the existence of special, national customs and traditions among Muslims living as part of it. These characteristics include differences in everyday life, language, national dress, national holidays and others. In Islam, morality takes precedence over aesthetic principles, but the relationship between them is recognized. This work examines the foundations of Islamic culture and religion, covering aspects such as the history of Islam, its basic principles and practices, cultural influence and development, and its role in the modern world. The focus is on the key elements of the Islamic faith, including the Qur’an, Sunnah, Shariah, and the importance of religious rituals and holidays. The introduction offers a detailed overview that helps to understand the fundamental aspects and significance of Islam for its followers and society at large. The included table systematizes the main tenets of Islam. The conclusion summarizes the results and offers thoughts on further study of the topic. The literature review includes both classical and contemporary sources.
