Technological progress as a factor in the formation of life attitudes of modern youth

Abstract. The article examines the impact of technological progress on the life of people, the formation and change of their attitudes, values, needs and priorities. Examples of changes that have occurred over the past 30 years are considered and given, which modern technical achievements are an integral part of our life today. Their both positive and negative influence on youth representatives is noted. It turned out that technological progress can not only bring improvements to a person’s life, simplify it, give new opportunities, but is also dangerous if its benefits are misused, especially at a young age. The importance and role of speed for the modern Russian youth representative is noted. The possibilities of using the benefits of technological progress of representatives of the older generation and representatives of youth are considered, the reasons for the inequality between them are explained. Examples of past and new installations, the formation of which has contributed to technological progress, are given. The necessity of modern youth in a constant influx of new information, which, being in open access, can be of different quality and is not always useful, is noted. The problems that arise in modern Russian youth and children due to the prevalence of low-quality information on the Internet and the consequences of its absorption are considered. It is considered how technological progress has influenced the family and reproductive attitudes of modern youth, how they have changed in comparison with past generations. The direct influence of technological progress on the attitudes of young people throughout human history, from traditional society to post-industrial, has been established.
